That depends on the quotation. It will state who is responsible for chasing, making good, plastering and decoration before work begins.
Can we stay in the house during a rewire?
Sometimes. It depends on the property, the extent of the work and whether safe access and temporary power can be maintained. Occupied rewires normally take longer.
What documents come with a rewire?
A full rewire is issued with an Electrical Installation Certificate and circuit schedules. For a partial rewire, the certificate identifies the circuits and work included. The quotation confirms the Building Regulations route and separate completion or compliance documentation.
